About this room

Retreat Reports is where people write up what a circle was actually like — the mats, the light, the rain, the tea, and whatever they did or didn't feel holding the Janus Mudra. It runs from residential weeks in Ubud down to a Tuesday-night online sit.

The best reports describe the room, describe one sensation without inflating it, and leave the interpretation open. If you're deciding whether to travel to practise, this is the room to read first.

Room guidelines

Describe sensations as sensations. Never claim contact.
Begin with grounding. Do not practise while distressed.
No selling. Facilitator names only with permission; keep it a report, not an ad.
Props are optional. The practice is posture and attention, not gear.

Writing a good report

Log the room and the sitting before you decide what any of it meant.
